This site contains videos I've made. Most of them are fanvideos, meaning that they contain audio or footage that was not originally created by me. While I highly respect artists for their great work (otherwise I wouldn't use it), I don't think that these videos harm their copyright or profits.
The footage is composed of random low-quality clips which will never replace buying the original work on DVD because all you see in my videos, will be short scenes out of context with no dialogue whatsoever. As for the music, I know you can "rip" the music track off of these videos and save it as an illegal MP3, but I know from experience that the quality of such sound files is horrible and you'll still have to buy the CD if you want that song.
Which is why I would like to ask copyright owners to overlook these. I'm a fan sharing my love for certain music or movies with the world and at the same time, promoting it. I have gotten more than 11 people hooked on IWGP thanks to my fanvideos and some of them bought the legal DVD box. I know you have the right to sue me, but do you have to use it? In what way do I harm your business? Before you take any legal steps against me - and I swear, I a) own the legal DVDs and CDs of everything you'll see here and b) I don't have the money a trial would cost me - please consider this. Please consider that we're only fans promoting your work.
